What do Charlie Manson, the Pope, the Catholic Church and the Republican Party have in common?
Delusions of Moral Righteousness.
The administration did issue a formal veto threat, the White House’s opposition signaled the end of these bills, at least in their current form.

The Amish and Medical Marijuana: two of the greatest evils on earth.
Mug Shots of the Day: Eight Amish men were arrested and booked into the Graves Country (KY) jail for refusing to pay fines issued for failure to attach orange safety triangles to their horse-drawn buggies.
The Swartzentruber Amish sect members said they could not display the triangles as it would violate a religious decree prohibiting bright colors.
They received sentences ranging from three to 10 days and provided dark-colored jumpsuits in lieu of the jail’s traditional orange coveralls.

In the last decade, New York drastically reduced its prison population and at the same time experienced a huge drop in crime. Indiana, on the other hand, drastically increased its prison population — and consequently the burden to taxpayers — while seeing a much smaller drop in crime than the national average.
The criminals are moving to Indiana?
The watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) filed a complaint Tuesday against House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), alleging that he violated the law and House rules by agreeing to pay an outside law firm $500,000 to defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
In the complaint filed with the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE), CREW charged that Boehner had violated the Antideficiency Act, which prohibits “making or authorizing an expenditure from, or creating or authorizing an obligation under, any appropriation or fund in excess of the amount available in the appropriation or fund unless authorized by law,” according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
The $500,000 contract represents more than 35 percent of the Office of General Counsel’s budget. “With more than two-thirds of the fiscal year having passed, the office will not have sufficient funds to pay for both its remaining salaries and expenses and the DOMA defense,” according to the complaint (PDF).
Boehner could face a fine of $5,000 and two years in prison if found guilty of violating the Antideficiency Act.
How very fiscally conservative of him…
The Speaker’s office responded by accusing CREW of targeting Republicans.
“This ‘complaint’ is off-base and stupid to the point that it creates the appearance of partisanship by CREW,” Boehner spokesman Michael Steel said in a statement. “The Speaker expects any cost to be recouped from the Obama Administration Justice Department, which should be defending the law in court. The ‘anti-deficiency act’ has nothing to do with this situation, as anyone with a basic grasp of the law knows.”
……the…. “Obama Administration Justice Department”…? I have hear of Obama and the Justice Department, but not Obama’s (Administration) Justice Department. And if it were Obama’s justice department why would Boehner behave as if he could run up a tab on what does not belong to Boehner. Michael Steele is talking shit like someone who swears to a cop the heroin found in their pants belongs to the person they stole the pants from. Boehner, years ago happily accepted bribes from big Tobacco to continue to kill Americans, lock the bastard up.

Senator Diane Feinstein says that the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence may open an investigation into allegations that the Bush White House attempted to use the CIA to have my reputation, Professor Juan Cole, destroyed in 2005-2006. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) refuses to have the House intelligence committee look into it, trying to kick it to Eric Holder at the Department of Justice. If the House of Representatives’ Intelligence Committee is not interested in whether the Bush White House and the CIA broke the law by targeting an American author on US soil, then frankly we have an answer to Ben Franklin’s concerns; after the Constitutional Convention he is said to have been asked about the form of the new government and to have replied, “A Republic– if you can keep it.” Guess not so much.
Not good, when these turds in the White House go after professors illegally. Not good at all.
The growing controversy over President Obama’s illegal waging of war in Libya got much bigger last night with Charlie Savage’s New York Times scoop. He reveals that top administration lawyers — Attorney General Eric Holder, OLC Chief Caroline Krass, and DoD General Counsel Jeh Johnson — all told Obama that his latest, widely panned excuse for waging war without Congressional approval (that it does not rise to the level of “hostilities” under the War Powers Resolution (WPR)) was invalid and that such authorization was legally required after 60 days: itself a generous intepretation of the President’s war powers. But Obama rejected those views and (with the support of administration lawyers in lesser positions: his White House counsel and long-time political operative Robert Bauer and State Department “legal adviser” Harold Koh) publicly claimed that the WPR does not apply to Libya.
Obama vs Bush, is there a difference? Both lie, neither have respect for law and drag us into just one more war.

Iraq will $repay$ US for the war………..?
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican from California, suggested during a trip to Baghdad with fellow lawmakers Friday that once Iraq becomes a rich and prosperous country, it could repay the United States. No offense but this Republican is certified shit-for-brains-dumb-bastard or lying to the stupid masses for manipulation.
And if the Iraqis don’t repay (uh duh) then the GOP says we should take from the poor people in America.
Feds discovered that $13 billion dollars in drug money was transferred by the CDC into correspondent bank accounts at Wachovia to purchase airplanes for the use of trafficking drugs from Colombia to Mexico and then the drugs were shipped to the U.S.
Bankers, bankers, bankers they are still at it and our useless fucking Government regulators and greedy whore legislators do what? The GD GOP expect us to give the rich more money, fuck the GOP. Raise taxes on the wealthy and leave Medicare alone.
GOP is S H I T.
Yesterday, the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal-Sentinel uncovered a new dirty trick that some Wisconsin Republican leaders are encouraging among their members. In a letter obtained by the paper, Dan Feyen, the chairman of the 6th Congressional District Republican Party, instructs his “fellow conservatives” to run spoiler candidates in the primaries for Democratic candidates. Referencing the recall election of Sen. Randy Hopper (R), Feyen argues that a primary would allow an extra month until the general election, which would give Republicans time to organize.
Republicans don’t just lie, they conspire to lie, Republicans do little but lie, to lie is the Republican way.
